New Beta Version Released
After few months of delay, here is the new beta version.
New features :
- Most config are not stored on config.php anymore, but on database, with admin panel.
- Supports multiple theme directories at same website. And selectable on admin page. I plan to make it such as wordpress admin theme page. (just check the admin page to view what i mean “admin.php?do=theme”)
- Proxy speed support.
- Proxy category. (can be modified from admin).
- “Recently Visited” page. Proxy which recently visited will be sorted up. So this is a kind of “bumping” on thread.
- Paging on all “List” pages, so all proxies will be visible. (the old one was just “top X”)
- Some changes on the header.
- Better admin page.
- Better cron script.
- Better coding (just fyi ).
- I probably missed something, i’ll update it here.
To do on future release :
- Country information.
- Click fraud protection.

If you use the old version, you still can upgrade. No database / data will be lost. Your old data can be used on the new version.
But, your old template can not be used. So you need to modify the template again. (or just the CSS, depends on what did you do to the old template)

Just a few suggestions:
- Admin config page looks too dev oriented. Perhaps can make it simpler OR put a choice where user can choose either basic admin / advance admin
- In cron cleanup, should be written what are the numbers represent, minutes? seconds? hours?
- Ads option, provide more option for different ads sizes and placement.
- Limit 1 hits per IP per session. (meaning, proxy owner cannot cheat by clicking his proxy many times to get on top of the “top proxy”). So it is a good idea for the script only to log 1st click from an IP on 1 proxy sites.(example: lily submit a proxy. she then repeatedly clicking on her proxy several hundred times to make it on top of “top proxy”.) So, to prevent this the script should have something that will result in logging only the first click for an IP for a site. (example: lily repeatedly clicking on her proxy but the hits shows 1 click)
- Country detection, is it possible to have user choose either to get the info from own server OR from public geoip server? (meaning like we host it on our server and let user use it)

I want to ask whether this script automatically check broken links or do i need to set up cron job to do this?if it works automatically where i can setup the cron time?and i also want to ask whether this script also post every submitted proxies to google groups automatically or not

@RoundZ : You have to login to admin page, and click the “Clean” link regularly. The script does not post every submitted proxies to Google group
You have to do this manually.

Hello xrvel, i think you should post an article that contain requirement about hosting for this script.
Because one hosting different with the other, you cant make a generalize with it.
You know what i mean, right?
If my advice was useless, just forget it,hehe lol..

uhm.. I clicked on the “Clean” link in admin but i got the “no proxies have been processed” message and i still see my “exampleproxy site” without the backlink listed, so ..what am i doing wrong?
